M. RYRIE MILNOR HISTORY ROOM
At the end of the corridor from the Duncan Wing lobby, you will find the M. Ryrie Milnor History Room, which contains memorabilia and artifacts from the Smith family and the early days of the hospital. There is a slide show depicting the numerous transformations the hospital has gone through, as well as videos of former medical staff, nursing school graduates and employees who describe their experiences at Alton Memorial Hospital.

A French Fashion doll which belonged to young Eunice Smith is in the front window and some of the doll’s wardrobe is displayed with her, as well as in frames in the alcove.
